I was responsible for overall UX and UI for the project.
E-commerce platform should streamline the process of users. I believe it affects users’ daily work flow directly. Previously on Syndy* platform, It was required for users to fill all mandatory fields before sending product contents to the retailers. From this project, users are able to send each field of it to the retailer.
In result, there was increase of completeness of fields from users.
*Syndy is the collaborative platform that empowers suppliers to optimise products across retailer websites, while providing retailers with the web’s richest stream of e-commerce product content.
When I first began this project, PM told me each field of product contents should be competitive compared to competitors. Users don’t need to fill out all the fields to send to the online store, but even 1 field can be sent.
If users update one field, then It affects to a lot of pages. In order to visualize it, I worked on the flow chart.
After that, I worked on wire frame. First, I always start with pen and paper. It helps my thought to be concrete quickly.
And I worked on Sketch to elaborate wireframe.
